Cryptogram

(This poem was sent to me by a fraternity buddy
Tim Capellan. Following are his original message...

I will not be available to attend the birthday
party of my Frat buddy Jepoy Presas on the 20th
for I will be out of town. Frienship indeed fuels
creativity and passion. I wish that the core message
of this poem gazes his heart and keeps the link of
Batch '86 strong as we pursue our life's mission
Happy Birthday Jepoy! TIMMY)

When x and y resist to be solved
And Pythagoras' wisdom is hidden
In the cold vault
Your soul opens up an oasis
Where numerical impositions
Are archaic; crystallized by pounding

The heart

For no formula is revealed
Solving the puzzle is never an agenda
And the haze is a mirage;
Where the unseen luster access your being,
As you try to measure the depth
Of your destination

Peer not the symbols
Bet on what is not obvious
For even the fiercest Greek warrior
Curtsies not on reverence - trust

A comrade

For we both built not a trojan Horse
But a majestic clipper
That explores, solves, and conquers
Life's ambiguities.
